Atualmente \u00e9 paradoxal o facto de a sociedade com mais recursos alimentares ser muitas vezes a mais desnutrida devido principalmente aos maus h\u00e1bitos e ao excesso de produtos animais em detrimento dos vegetais que possuem fito elementos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para compreender isto, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio partir dos conceitos b\u00e1sicos e respetiva fun\u00e7\u00e3o alimentar, existem <strong>fito elementos prim\u00e1rios<\/strong> que s\u00e3o os hidratos de carbono, as gorduras, as prote\u00ednas, as vitaminas, os oligoelementos e os minerais, mas tamb\u00e9m existem os <strong>fito elementos secund\u00e1rios<\/strong>, que \u00e9 no que nos vamos concentrar hoje.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S\u00e3o cerca de 30.000 subst\u00e2ncias diferentes que n\u00e3o servem diretamente para o crescimento da planta mas sim como prote\u00e7\u00e3o face a produtos danosos como raios UVA, t\u00f3xicos ambientais, etc. Mas que no ser humano tem uma s\u00e9rie de fun\u00e7\u00f5es especialmente em termos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o e antioxida\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se os nossos antepassados comiam 4 g di\u00e1rios destas subst\u00e2ncias; n\u00f3s n\u00e3o chegamos nem a 1 g di\u00e1rio.
