humano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estes trili\u00f5es de microrganismos ajudam a regular o nosso sistema imunol\u00f3gico, sistema end\u00f3crino, digest\u00e3o e metabolismo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Os cientistas est\u00e3o a constatar que o microbioma intestinal est\u00e1 relacionado com o estado emocional, a sa\u00fade cardiovascular e a capacidade de lutar contra doen\u00e7as.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o permitiu comprovar que a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o do equil\u00edbrio da flora intestinal pode ajudar a promover a sa\u00fade a longo prazo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entre as bact\u00e9rias mais importantes e ben\u00e9ficas do microbioma intestinal encontram-se as pertencentes ao grupo das\u00a0<strong>bifidobact\u00e9rias.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0As\u00a0<em>bifidobact\u00e9rias<\/em>\u00a0t\u00eam variad\u00edssimos benef\u00edcios para a sa\u00fade: combatem as alergias, os n\u00edveis elevados de colesterol, as doen\u00e7as respirat\u00f3rias, o stresse e a ansiedade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante a inf\u00e2ncia, os nossos corpos contam com um elevado n\u00famero de bifidobact\u00e9rias.\u00a0Mas com o avan\u00e7ar da idade, a m\u00e1 alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de antibi\u00f3ticos e outros agentes externos, os n\u00edveis de bifidobact\u00e9rias diminuem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A propor\u00e7\u00e3o de bifidobact\u00e9rias saud\u00e1veis no intestino humano durante a inf\u00e2ncia \u00e9 de aproximadamente <strong>60%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante a idade adulta, as bifidobact\u00e9rias diminuem entre\u00a0<strong>30%<\/strong> a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o dos n\u00edveis saud\u00e1veis de\u00a0<strong>bifidobact\u00e9rias<\/strong>, os investigadores estudaram uma\u00a0<em><strong>fibra prebi\u00f3tica<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0chamada\u00a0<strong>xilooligosac\u00e1rido (XOS),<\/strong>\u00a0composta por carolos de milho n\u00e3o transg\u00e9nicos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A <strong>XOS<\/strong>\u00a0proporciona um ambiente natural ideal para que\u00a0<strong>as bact\u00e9rias saud\u00e1veis<\/strong>\u00a0prosperem no aparelho gastrointestinal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Em estudos realizados, foi poss\u00edvel constatar que a\u00a0<strong>XOS<\/strong>\u00a0ajudou a recuperar a sa\u00fade intestinal e promover a presen\u00e7a de bifidobact\u00e9rias em apenas\u00a0<strong>14<\/strong>\u00a0dias, sem promover outras bact\u00e9rias danosas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este prebi\u00f3tico foi eficiente inclusivamente quando tomado em quantidades relativamente pequenas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A presen\u00e7a de menos b\u00edfido significa mais espa\u00e7o para que as bact\u00e9rias perigosas e n\u00e3o saud\u00e1veis possam proliferar, raz\u00e3o pela qual \u00e9 importante conservar as nossas bact\u00e9rias ben\u00e9ficas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para crescer e multiplicar-se, as bifidobact\u00e9rias precisam de dispor do alimento adequado. No entanto, a dieta de muitas pessoas \u00e9 notoriamente deficiente em fibra diet\u00e9tica, a fonte de alimento n\u00famero um das bifidobact\u00e9rias. O termo\u00a0<em>prebi\u00f3tico<\/em>\u00a0pode ser novo para algumas pessoas, no entanto os prebi\u00f3ticos existem h\u00e1 anos mas s\u00e3o conhecidos como\u00a0<strong>fibra sol\u00favel<\/strong>.
