A exist\u00eancia do SNE \u00e9 a raz\u00e3o pela qual o intestino \u00e9 conhecido como o \u00absegundo c\u00e9rebro\u00bb. Sabemos atualmente que o SNE tem a capacidade de trabalhar de forma independente ou em conjunto com o c\u00e9rebro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O SNE deteta amea\u00e7as ambientais da mesma forma que os nossos olhos, nariz, pele, etc. Grande parte das informa\u00e7\u00f5es com origem no ambiente externo vem do nosso intestino, e embora a informa\u00e7\u00e3o afete o nosso bem-estar, nem sempre temos conhecimento disso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0O nervo vago \u00e9 um dos principais agentes da liga\u00e7\u00e3o do SNE com o c\u00e9rebro e o intestino. \u00c9 o maior nervo craniano e tem uma distribui\u00e7\u00e3o mais ampla que qualquer outro no corpo. Este nervo liga o trato gastrointestinal ao c\u00e9rebro, e 90% dos sinais que passam ao longo do nervo passam do intestino ao c\u00e9rebro e n\u00e3o do c\u00e9rebro para baixo, como se pensava anteriormente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O nosso segundo c\u00e9rebro tamb\u00e9m produz numerosas hormonas e cerca de 40 diferentes neurotransmissores que se encontram tamb\u00e9m no c\u00e9rebro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8100\" title=\"neurotransmissores\" src=\"https:\/\/kinepharma.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/neurotransmisores.png\" alt=\"neurotransmissores\" width=\"550\" height=\"262\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kinepharma.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/neurotransmisores.png 1920w, https:\/\/kinepharma.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/neurotransmisores-300x143.png 300w, https:\/\/kinepharma.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/neurotransmisores-768x365.png 768w, https:\/\/kinepharma.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/neurotransmisores-1024x487.png 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Na verdade,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>95% da serotonina do corpo encontrada num determinado momento no sistema nervoso ent\u00e9rico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estudos mostram que os sinais nervosos enviados a partir do intestino para o c\u00e9rebro, que passam ao longo do nervo vago, afetam o nosso estado de esp\u00edrito.\u00a0Este facto sugere que a estimula\u00e7\u00e3o do nervo vago pode ser um tratamento eficaz para a depress\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tamb\u00e9m foi demonstrado que o consumo de alimentos com gordura envia uma mensagem forte a partir do intestino para o c\u00e9rebro que rejeita a emo\u00e7\u00e3o da tristeza.\u00a0Facto que desencadeia, muitas vezes, o stresse percebido.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O stresse faz com que o intestino aumente a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de uma hormona designada grelina. A grelina envia mensagens para o c\u00e9rebro atrav\u00e9s do nervo vago, dando a ordem para libertar mais dopamina, uma subst\u00e2ncia que reduz a depress\u00e3o e ansiedade.\u00a0No entanto, a grelina tamb\u00e9m faz com que tenhamos mais apetite.\u00a0O stresse inicia uma cadeia de eventos que leva a um aumento da fome e um desejo de alimentos gordurosos. Tudo isso ajuda a explicar por que raz\u00e3o \u00e9 que os alimentos de alto teor de gordura nos fazem sentir bem quando nos sentimos deprimidos ou stressados.
