Les produits issus de ce m\u00e9tabolisme sont instables et s\u2019ils ne sont pas m\u00e9tabolis\u00e9s rapidement, ils donnent lieu \u00e0 des radicaux libres, produisant ce qui est connu comme \u00e9tant le <strong>stress oxydatif<\/strong> conduisant \u00e0 de nombreux probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les dommages produits par les radicaux libres dans les tissus d\u00e9pendent de l\u2019\u00e9quilibre entre les esp\u00e8ces r\u00e9actives de l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne (parmi elles, les radicaux libres) et les d\u00e9fenses antioxydantes dont dispose tout \u00eatre humain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ces d\u00e9fenses du syst\u00e8me antioxydant luttent contre les effets nocifs des radicaux libres. L\u2019\u00e9quilibre oxydatif est fondamental pour la sant\u00e9 des personnes. En d\u2019autres termes, les radicaux libres et les antioxydants doivent s\u2019\u00e9quilibrer de telle sorte que les dommages soient minimis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">D\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre oxydatif<strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Or, l\u2019\u00e9quilibre entre les radicaux libres et les antioxydants peut \u00eatre perdu en cas de stress, de mauvaise alimentation, de maladie, ou comme cela arrive malheureusement de nos jours, de d\u00e9pendance excessive aux substances toxiques telles que le tabac, l\u2019alcool ou le caf\u00e9. C\u2019est alors que le stress oxydatif se produit : il a donc eu une diminution des syst\u00e8mes de d\u00e9fense de l\u2019organisme et une augmentation de la vitesse de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019esp\u00e8ces r\u00e9actives de l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le syst\u00e8me de d\u00e9fense est donc \u00e9troitement li\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019oxydation qui accompagne le processus de vieillissement. L\u2019oxydation provoque des l\u00e9sions similaires dans les cellules de notre organisme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lorsque nous respirons, nous dig\u00e9rons, nous faisons de l\u2019exercice, ou tout simplement, nous dormons, notre corps produit des agents potentiellement nocifs connus sous le nom de radicaux libres. Les r\u00e9actions en cha\u00eene des radicaux libres se produisent chaque jour d\u2019innombrables fois, d\u2019autres agents tels que le stress ou la pollution environnementale aggravant cette situation. Mais la nature nous offre les moyens de nous prot\u00e9ger contre ces agents, il s\u2019agit des antioxydants qui luttent contre les radicaux libres. Parmi les principaux antioxydants, il convient de noter\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les carot\u00e9no\u00efdes tels que le b\u00eata-carot\u00e8ne.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">La vitamine C.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">La vitamine E.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">La NAC (N-ac\u00e9tylcyst\u00e9ine).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le glutathion.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">La L-cyst\u00e9ine<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le s\u00e9l\u00e9nium et le zinc, \u00e9l\u00e9ments des enzymes superoxyde dismutase (SOD) et glutathion peroxydase (GPx) respectivement, sont fondamentaux dans la d\u00e9sintoxication cellulaire et la diminution des radicaux libres.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les composants qui se trouvent dans les plantes telles que le ginkgo biloba, la myrtille, le vin rouge (peau de raisin) et le th\u00e9
