Intervienen sobre la s\u00edntesis de prote\u00ednas, sobre el movimento, es decir podemos influir sobre todos los procesos dominantemente funcionales de la qu\u00edmica y de la biolog\u00eda molecular.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si estos catalizadores no funcionan correctamente, se da un <strong>estr\u00e9s oxidativo<\/strong>, no se puede por tanto controlar y reducir los productos resultantes de la oxidaci\u00f3n celular (radicales libres), y esto puede crear da\u00f1os irreparables en la c\u00e9lula y en su ADN.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El estr\u00e9s oxidativo <strong>est\u00e1 involucrado en muchas enfermedades<\/strong>, como la aterosclerosis, la enfermedad de Parkinson, Esclerosis lateral amiotr\u00f3fica (ELA), sensibilidad qu\u00edmica m\u00faltiple, periodontitis, la enfermedad de Alzheimer y el envejecimiento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuando hablamos de lesi\u00f3n celular, estamos se\u00f1alando, que para que aparezca el da\u00f1o celular <strong>primero se tendr\u00e1n que producir lesiones enzim\u00e1ticas y qu\u00edmicas<\/strong>. Es decir se tendr\u00e1 que alterar primero el metabolismo bioqu\u00edmico y sobre todo alg\u00fan sistema bioqu\u00edmico b\u00e1sico de las c\u00e9lulas, anterior al da\u00f1o celular y efectivamente , lo primero que va a aparecer cuando se lesiona el ciclo de Krebs por alguna de estas causas, son las alteraciones funcionales. Por lo tanto, si estamos frente a un paciente con una <strong>patolog\u00eda funcional<\/strong>, podemos pensar que muy <strong>probablemente habr\u00e1 alteraciones en su enzim\u00e1tica y catal\u00edticas<\/strong> que puedan estar induciendo o favoreciendo este tipo de alteraciones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El organismo intenta compensar los desequilibrios, y cuando falla la v\u00eda aer\u00f3bica, intenta utilizar la v\u00eda anaer\u00f3bica; como por ejemplo en la encefalopat\u00eda hip\u00f3xica isqu\u00e9mica, en donde la v\u00eda anaer\u00f3bica no solamente es <strong>menos eficiente en cuanto a la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, <\/strong>sino que es t\u00f3xica ya que genera acumulaci\u00f3n de catabolitos, produce acidificaci\u00f3n del sistema, y mal funcionamiento de la c\u00e9lula.
