No es de extra\u00f1ar que su consumo haya crecido de manera considerable a lo largo de los \u00faltimos 10 a\u00f1os. No obstante, es necesario se\u00f1alar que para que la vitamina D realice correctamente su funci\u00f3n necesita del apoyo del magnesio. Ve\u00e1mos c\u00f3mo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Los beneficios de la vitamina D<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La vitamina D a niveles \u00f3ptimos promueve la retenci\u00f3n y absorci\u00f3n de minerales como el f\u00f3sforo y el calcio, esenciales para el \u00f3ptimo desarrollo de huesos y dientes. De hecho, una deficiencia de vitamina D puede llegar a causar raquitismo y osteoporosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una buena manera de que esta vitamina llegue al organismo es mediante la exposici\u00f3n controlada a los rayos solares. Tomar el sol siempre con protecci\u00f3n, favorece la regulaci\u00f3n en sangre de minerales como los mencionados anteriormente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otra gran fuente de vitamina D es una dieta rica en lacteos, huevos, salm\u00f3n, sardinas e h\u00edgado de vacuno. Estos alimentos ayudan a la funci\u00f3n inmune del organismo, as\u00ed como retrasan su envejecimiento. De hecho, las personas con niveles insuficientes de magnesio no son capaces de obtener todos los beneficios de la vitamina D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El magnesio no solo ayuda a transportar la vitamina D en la sangre, sino que adem\u00e1s activa sus propiedades. El consumo de vitamina D, bien por exposici\u00f3n solar o bien por v\u00eda oral es del todo inactiva. Antes de que esta vitamina se active para realizar sus funciones vitales es necesario que las enzimas, tanto del h\u00edgado como de los ri\u00f1ones hagan su trabajo. Estas enzimas necesitan del magnesio para su correcto funcionamiento. De lo contrario, la vitamina D estar\u00e1 presente en el organismo, pero de manera inactiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por lo tanto, el magnesio ayuda a activar los receptores necesarios para que las c\u00e9lulas aprovechen de manera absoluta la vitamina D.
