Estudios recientes han concluido que el consumo de melatonina podr\u00eda ser un gran aliado en la p\u00e9rdida de grasa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Qu\u00e9 es la melatonina<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuando llega la noche y la oscuridad se vuelve protagonista, nuestra gl\u00e1ndula pineal se estimula produciendo melatonina. Una hormona que nos incita al sue\u00f1o y cuya producci\u00f3n decrece seg\u00fan va apareciendo una presencia de luz mayor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esto significa que las personas con problemas para producir melatonina suelen tener alteraciones del sue\u00f1o como, por ejemplo, el insomnio.<br \/>\nEstas alteraciones de los ritmos circadiano no son muy positivos para la salud, ya que alteran directamente el funcionamiento de nuestro metabolismo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>C\u00f3mo afecta el consumo de melatonina sobre la obesidad<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un equipo de investigadores ha descubierto que la producci\u00f3n de melatonina podr\u00eda estar directamente relacionada con el aumento de peso. Para llevar a cabo su investigaci\u00f3n eligieron a un grupo de roedores con obesidad al que les fue administrada de manera regular una cantidad de melatonina. Es decir, sin tener que tomar medidas sobre la ingesta de alimentos o actividad f\u00edsica en el paciente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>La importancia de dormir bien<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alcanzar un buen descanso durante el sue\u00f1o es un signo de buena salud. El cuerpo no solo recupera energ\u00eda, sino que se prepara para realizar funciones primordiales para nuestro organismo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las personas con menor segregaci\u00f3n de melatonina durante la noche, no solo no consiguen descansar bien, sino que son m\u00e1s propensos a la acumulaci\u00f3n de grasas.<br \/>\nLas recientes conclusiones acerca del papel de la melatonina sobre la obesidad albergan una esperanza en la lucha contra el exceso de peso. Esta hormona podr\u00eda convertirse en una herramienta de gran utilidad para resolver uno de los principales problemas de salud a nivel mundial.
